This tartan rug is cut out in the same cloth as was used for planes canvas mount at the beginning of the 20th century. It is exquisitely decorated with a white square cloth the rim of which is made of hand-stitched embroidery and an open-work floral pattern.
In the centre of the rug, a white monogram emerges from a mattress cloth background rimmed with fine embroidery.
